Ubuntu Touch releases are based on Ubuntu LTS versions. The older active generation used Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. The newer generation uses Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.0 was the first Ubuntu Touch release based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Ubuntu Touch 20.04 OTA-10 was a later maintenance release for the 20.04 generation.
